The north Dublin artist Paul Kelly has a dedicated and patient following; according to Jim Gorry of the Gorry Gallery, who handles his work, people often call him to find out when the next Kelly exhibition will be and the answer is usually not for a while. But the time has come for another show at the Gorry and it son Monday.

It will run for just one day, which is all Jim Gorry considers necessary to sell the 39 paintings from the artist. They are all small scale works inspired by the landscape of Skerries, Rush, Balbriggan as well as scenes of parks and woodland and children on the beach. Prices will from the high hundreds to around €2000 – the price paid for a small Paul Kelly oil of the garden at Ardgillan Castle at Tuesdays Irish sale at Adams.
